Music

Originally hailing from Toowoomba, Alana Scott started singing at the age of three, winning her first competition at six years old.

She also studied violin and piano from the age of eight.

Alana won a variety of competitions and performed lead roles in musical productions in her home town before being accepted at 16 to study classical voice at Brisbane’s Queensland Conservatorium under Professor Janet Delpratt.

During her time at the Conservatorium, Alana performed in shows with the Conservatorium Opera School and was a finalist in the Margaret Nickson prize for voice and accompaniment.

Since leaving the Conservatorium, Alana has gained valuable experience performing with professional ensembles and companies.
